Meeting organized for China by the Academy of Social Sciences and the Energy Research Institute, and for Europe by E3G (Third Generation Environmentalism, UK), the PIK (Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, Germany) and IDDRI.
The objective was to establish a shared understanding of the challenges posed by securing energy supply, to consider possible synergies with strategies to combat the greenhouse effect and to identify opportunities for cooperation.
