A presentation by Sébastien Treyer, as part of the kick-off meeting "Sustainable Food and Farming Platform (SFFP)", which aim is to establish the basis for the focus and functioning of the SFFP, an informal platform of civil society organisations working at a pan-European level in order to influence EU policy making, representing farmers, environmental protection, social justice, animal welfare, development and consumer CSOs.
Objectives:
1. Gain a deeper understanding of each organisation’s involvement in agriculture and food policy
2. Agree the platform’s role
3. Agree key concepts and issues the platform could work on together
4. Agree how the functioning of the platform
5. Identify possible first joint actions
