Overview :
The tenth G20 Leaders Summit was held on November 15-16 in Antalya, Turkey. On December 1st, 2015, China has assumed the 2016 G20 presidency officially. Currently, preparations for the G20 Hangzhou Summit are promoting roundly and orderly.
The three Chinese think tanks officially responsible for coordinating T20 efforts in 2016 decided to launch the T20 China Kickoff Meeting on December 14-15 , 2015 in Beijing, with a view to address both feedback on G20 Antalya Summit and expectations for China’s presidency in 2016. Co-organized by Institute of World Economics and Politics at Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (IWEP, CASS), Shanghai Institute for International Studies (SIIS) and Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China (RDCY), the T20 China Kickoff meeting marks the first G20 public event in China, which is set to reveal the preliminary plans for the 2016 G20 Hangzhou Summit. It is also an important platform for worldwide think tank representatives to contribute their wisdom and thought for G20.
