A presentation by Mathieu Saujot at “The sustainable city, a tool for social transformation in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean” conference organised by the Institut des Amériques (IdA), the European Union – Latin America and Caribbean Foundation (EU-LAC) and the French Development Agency (AFD). This event is part of the Latin America and the Caribbean Week being held in France.
The conference will focus on the sustainable city in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean as a tool for fundamental social transformation in cities, one that would benefit all citizens including the poorest and most vulnerable by significantly improving their quality of life, strengthening social cohesion and thereby building resistance to disasters and climate change risks.
