Hélène Ruiz Fabri is Professor of International Law at the University of Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne, Director of the UMR de Droit comparé de Paris and President of the European Society of International Law. She has written and edited several books on international and comparative law. She has published numerous articles on issues of international law, especially relating to international courts and tribunals, European law, and WTO law. In the field of WTO law, she has written extensively about dispute settlement, its functioning and case-law. She is regularly called upon as an expert by the Council of Europe (Ratification and Implementation of the ECHR in Eastern European Countries), by the French Government and the French-Speaking Nations Agency (as a legal expert on Cultural Diversity).
