Alison Tate, Director of Economic and Social Policy of the global labour union peak body, the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC)
The ITUC represents 180 million workers in 162 countries. Alison has worked in national, regional and global policy across economics, international trade and investment, social policy, human and trade unions rights, sustainable development, climate, migration, labour standards compliance and corporate social responsibility. She serves on a number of advisory boards of foundations and on academic, community-based and international organisations.
An Australian, she has degrees in economics and political science. Alison was the 2014 Moynihan NGO Fellow at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University, USA.
