By ministerial decree of April 4, 2018, Michel Colombier, IDDRI’s Scientific Director, has again been appointed Chairman of the Expert Committee for the Energy Transition (CETE). Created in 2015 within the framework of the French Energy Transition for Green Growth Act (TECV), and made up of eight members, the goal of the CETE is in particular to provide an opinion on the Multiannual Energy Plan (PPE), which is one of the main tools for steering the energy transition in France, and whose revision, after an open public consultation several weeks ago, is planned for late 2018.
