Ben Allen

Ben Allen is Interim Executive Director of IEEP. He was previously Head of the Agriculture and Land Management Programme at IEEP. He holds a degree in Environmental Biology and a PhD in the field of Land Use and Spatial Ecology and has over ten years of experience working on EU land use, bioenergy, agriculture, climate and land management policy in both the public and private sector. His particular interest is in understanding the dynamics between different land uses and their drivers, including sectoral policies and how these can be shaped to deliver a more sustainable and low-carbon future for Europe.
