Brigitte Béjean is Communication Director at the Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations (IDDRI). In connection with IDDRI's programmes and initiatives and with the support of a dedicated team, she coordinates efforts to promote IDDRI and bring the Institute's analyses and proposals to the appropriate audiences. In particular, she is responsible for ensuring the visibility of IDDRI's ideas in the public debate among all media, generalists, specialists, print, web or audiovisual media.
A former radio journalist specialising for a long time in environmental and sustainable development issues, Brigitte Béjean spent 20 years at Europe 1, as head of department and presenter, and for several years in charge of the morning columns on climate, biodiversity and environmental health. She then joined for 2 years the offices of the Ministry of Transport (Frédéric Cuvillier) then Education (Benoît Hamon) as a communications and press advisor.
