Laurence Tubiana will participate in two side events, on December 12, at the UNFCCC COP-13 in Bali:
- a roundtable, organized by the Governments of Norway and Mexico and the Center for Clean Air Policy (CCAP), to discuss options currently under debate in order to recognize and encourage unilateral actions by developing countries and providing incentives for continued emissions reductions. Participants at this roundtable : Erik Solheim, Minister of the Environment and International Cooperation Kingdom of Norway; Juan Rafael Elvira Quesada, Secretariat of the Environment and Natural Resources, Mexico; Kristin Halvorsen, Minister of Finance, Kingdom of Norway.
- Laurence Tubiana will also participate in the Circe side event, with Antonio Navarra, Ana Iglesias and as special guest, Corrado Clini, General Director Italian Ministry of Environment.
