"The Gaidar Forum is one of the biggest discussion platforms on economic policy in Russia. Established in 2010 in tribute to the memory of Yegor Gaidar, author of Russian economic reforms, it has become a key venue to discuss ideas and approaches to understanding the global processes taking place in Russia and the world at large. Every year the Gaidar Forum stages events of different scales, including the annual international conference Russia and the World with high-level plenary sessions and experts’ roundtables.
The next conference Russia and the World: Challenges of Integration will discuss steps in building a more proactive role of Russia in the global economy. The core discussions will focus on better growth management, business environment, Russia’s input into global growth with the view of WTO and OECD accession, social challenges of modernization and institutional reforms.
The sessions will be moderated by top government and regional officials, leading Russian and international economists."
