During the second DDP-LAC (Deep Decarbonisation Pathways - Latin America and Caribbean) meeting, the different teams (Costa Rica, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Argentina, Mexico) presented their initial business-as-usual and 2°C scenario DDPP results, their engagement with governments, and worked on defining the 2019 work plan, including preparations for the next meeting in Costa Rica in March 2019.
The workshop was followed by a workshop organised by Mexico's Ministry of the Environment: practitioners from across Central and South America were invited to discuss models, modelling and data needs, NDCs and possible areas of cooperation.
