The 2nd Global Public Policy Network Conference with the theme "Globalizing Asia or Asian Globalization?" will be hosted by the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKY SPP) in Singapore.
Asia has benefited greatly from the accelerating processes of globalization. The rapid growth and success of Asian societies also mean that Asian societies will play a bigger role in shaping the future processes of globalization. Asians will go from being passengers on the bus of globalization to becoming the co-drivers. But where will they drive this bus to? The Singapore conference will attempt to address some of these larger global challenges.
Laurence Tubiana will chair the panel on "The Asian impact on energy and the environment in the age of globalization".
