Henri Waisman is leading the scientific committee of the 11th Scientific Days organised by Météo et Climat (an association chaired by climatologist Jean Jouzel) on the theme "Limiting global warming to 1.5°C: why and how? ».

Anchored in the Talanoa Dialogue ("Where are we? Where do we want to go? How?") that is taking place in the UN climate negotiations, this day will be devoted to the IPCC Special Report 1.5°C, its conclusions and their implications, in particular for climate change adaptation and mitigation options. Several authors of the report will be involved.
