This workshop on Tropical Deforestation is the first joint event of the Initiative FERDI/IDDRI.
Representant of IDDRI, Romain Pirard will be one of the discutants of the first session on "Technological and Demographic Factors". He will also participate to the roundtable dedicated on "Policy Implications", and will present a communication on "A methodology to estimate impacts of domestic policies on deforestation: Compensated Successful Efforts for “avoided deforestation” (REDD).
