The MAVA Foundation has developed a new (and final) strategy for the period 2016-2022, in which the improvement of pollution risk management providing from offshore oil and gas activities is one of the priorities identified.
In the new approach that has been adopted, the MAVA Foundation no longer receives requests for spontaneous funding. From now on, for each priority theme, MAVA develops, together with the partners, action plans defining the objectives and strategies to be privileged as well as the actors involved in their implementation.
This workshop is organized by IDDRI and the Regional Partnership for the Conservation of the Coastal and Marine Zone in West Africa (PRCM), on behalf of the MAVA Foundation.
