Jeanne Cadiou holds a PhD in sociology and agronomy on agricultural methanisation. She conducted a research project as part of a thesis in political science co-supervised by Pierre-Marie Aubert (IDDRI) and Jean-Marc Meynard (INRAE). She works on the socio-economic and agri-environmental challenges of agricultural biogas development, in particular through the study of concomitant trajectories of transformation or stabilisation of agricultural socio-technical systems. This empirical work feeds into a reflection on the modalities of political regulation of the biogas sector in the face of climate challenges and the growing difficulties of creating value in the agricultural sector, in a context of increasing international competition.
Jeanne studied agricultural engineering at AgroParisTech, which was followed by a double degree with a master's degree in public policy at the IEP in Paris.
