Last November, the biodiversity negotiations hosted by Colombia ended in disarray. COP16 resumes on the 25th of February in Italy, but countries still face the difficult task of ensuring sufficient financial resources to implement their biodiversity commitments. What happened? What should have happened? And could discussions in Rome land a deal?
