Since the beginning of 2024, the European news has been largely marked by the mobilisation of farmers in various Member States and in Brussels. In France, mobilisation peaked between late January and early February, although the International Agriculture Fair (February 24-March 3, 2024) could mark a resurgence in the pressure exerted by the farming sector on the executive. Faced with a long list of diverse demands from various agricultural union representatives, the French and European public authorities have tried to restore calm with short-term political responses.
