Yann Laurans and Aleksandar Rankovic take part in the webinar on the post-2020 biodiversity framework, before and after the event, organised by Future Earth along with the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS).
Speakers will discuss on the post-2020 biodiversity framework and preparing for the Fourteenth Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP14). Questions raised will be:
Why did previous international biodiversity conservation frameworks partially fail? How should the new framework be designed to answer the pressing challenge of global biodiversity loss? What role should the Future Earth scientific community play in that process?
