"During the 18 January policy forum, Ms Jean Lambert, Green MEP, will demonstrate the importance of research for acting on climate migration at the European level. Researchers Ms Aurelie Sgro, Associate Project Officer at the ICMPD Brussels Mission and PhD candidate at the University of Nice, and Dr. François Gemenne, Research Fellow at the Institut du Développement Durable et des Relations Internationales (IDDRI) - Science Po Paris, will critically discuss the findings of current international research, which will frame the discussions on terminology and current legal, political and institutional conceptual debates. It is the Policy Forum's aim is to actively contribute to the development of a research agenda that is relevant and ‘readable’ for policy-makers.
