Michele Schiavo is a senior research fellow in the Agriculture and Food programme. His work focuses on the socio-economic evaluation of scenarios involving deep changes in the European agricultural production systems. Before joining IDDRI, Michele worked for INRA in a research project regarding the “4 per 1000” initiative. He realized a microeconomic evaluation of agricultural practices suitable for soil carbon storage. He also worked in consultancy firms where he performed mid-term and ex-post evaluations of the second pillar of the CAP (EAFRD). He has a Master degree in “Agricultural Development and Economic Policies” from IEDES, Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University. Michele speaks English, French, Spanish and Italian.
