To reverse current trends and put European food systems on track towards greater sustainability, the Farm to fork strategy needs to simultaneously to:
- Transform the governance of the EU food system / food-related policies;
- Take ambitious measures to ensure the needed changes on all five dimensions (diet shift, food waste and losses reduction, food value chain transformation, agricultural landscape transformation, trade & competition policies) are triggered and will happen at sufficient scale and pace.
